Welcome to the “The Week of Fun”, a week-long celebration of Seattle’s alt-comedy scene. What exactly is “alt-comedy” you ask? We’re not sure, but we think it involves robots.

“The Week of Fun” runs from January 25-31 at nine local venues, including the Capitol Hill Arts Center (CHAC) and the prestigious Langston Hughes Cultural Center.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be giving you a behind the scenes peek at one of the most ambitious comedy festivals ever attempted in Seattle. Will this “peek” involve gratuitous male nudity? Probably. Will the “males” be attractive? Absolutely not. This is not porno, people, this is comedy.
